My mental landscape
“Pease’s work probes the mental changes and emotions of transition, when we are suddenly in a new environment: the familiar feeling of disorientation and dissonance opposite to belonging. Opposite to her monochromatic approach, these colorful images take on a life of their own unleashing a flow of elusive perceptions. Located somewhere between reality and fiction, Pease’s frontal and colorful images represent a mental landscape affected by this diverse global community in constant change.”
This series was produced in a small city south of Brazil.
